A landmark series for National Geographic chronicling mankind's rise. 32 short films make up the backbone of this series. 

 

The drama was shot over 68 days with over 450 crew. Over 25 large scale set builds were constructed (Ancient China, Medieval Europe, WW1 trenches, Neolithic villages, Ancient Rome etc) and contained a cast of thousands.

 

Simon was the Executive Producer, Executive Director and 

Co-Writer on the project.
